What is Origin of Life, part-1 (Introduction and Historical Development)

Origin of life:

It is presumed that the universe came into existence with a single titanic explosion called big bang. Basically, it comes into existence from nothing, about 15000 million years ago. From then our universe is expending continuously and with the flow of time it became cooled down to give rise to many celestial bodies that are fragmented from the fire balls like sun. This results in the formation of solar system consisting of sun and planets. The Earth (one kind of celestial body) was originated about 4.6 billion years ago.

Origin of life on earth is one kind of mistry, no one knows how life was created on earth, there are just some theories on it. People from time to time tried to explain this complex process by there own ways.

Historical development of origin of life:

Origin of life on Earth is also called protobiogenesis. Several attempts have been made from time to time to explain the origin of life on earth. As a result, there are several theories which offer their own explanation on the possible mechanism of origin of life. It is clear that life came into existence from non-living substances of primordial earth about 3 billion year ago. Origin of life can be explained by following theories:

1. Super natural theory.

2. Theory of Special Creation.

3. Theory of catastrophism.

4. Theory of Panspermia/ Cosmozoic theory.

5. Theory of Spontaneous Generation/theory of abiogenesis.

6. Theory of Biogenesis.

7. Theory of Biochemical Evolution.

8. Deep sea hydrothermal vent theory.
